Gideon’s Bakehouse holds soft opening Dec. 23 at Disney Springs
Wednesday will be a sweet day at Disney Springs as Gideon’s Bakehouse enters its soft opening mode, the company posted on its Instagram account.
The store will open Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. “Please come and help us refine our craft, get to know our new ovens, gain speed when making your Peanut Butter Cold Brew, and get cozy in our hauntingly new space,” the company announced.
“The “‘Official’ Grand Opening will happen in the New Year when all of our beautifully branded new Gideon’s boxes and cups arrive and we iron the kinks. Keep your eye out because you won’t want to miss it!”
The Bakehouse is located across from Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar.
The Bakehouse quickly gained international recognition for its almost ½-pound, small-batch handmade cookies.
The menu is expected to bring an expanded menu of cookie and cake slices, plus adding its own line of iced coffees. In addition, the ever-popular Coffee Cake Cookie (previously only available one month a year) is expected to be on sale every morning.
