Halloween Takes Over Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs: New Food & Drinks
Back by popular demand, Halloween thrills have officially landed at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs.
The popular waterfront lounge has undergone its annual autumn transformation, swapping ordinary aviation props for kitschy 1940s Halloween decor, ghostly ambiance, and an extensive new menu of sinister sips and eerie eats running through Nov. 9.
Inside the bar, Jock Lindsey’s vast collection of flight memorabilia from his globetrotting adventures has been blended with vintage holiday accents. The result feels like stepping into a mid-century Halloween gathering, complete with retro lanterns, tinsel garland zigzagging across the ceiling, and expressive vintage blow-mold decorations dancing with light.
Guests exploring the lounge will spot several subtle details:
- The Entrance: A set of pumpkin scarecrows greets visitors outside, including a pilot pumpkin paying homage to Jock himself.
- The Diving Bell: Guests dining inside the overhead diving bell will find a patch of flickering jack-o’-lanterns perched directly above them.
- Vintage Touches: A band of card-stock black cats inspired by classic Beistle decorations watches over the bar from a far corner.
- ster Eggs: Perched high above the bar, a faded “Bigelow’s Air Circus” banner offers a nod to Disney’s 1991 film The Rocketeer, accompanied by matching “South Seas Club” coasters.
- Reggie’s Cage: Jock’s pet boa constrictor appears to be on the loose once again, leaving his cage empty amidst the holiday setup.
