Alaska Airlines unveils ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer’ plane
Alaska Airlines has added a touch of bayou magic to its fleet with the debut of its newest themed “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” plane. Unveiled at Portland International Airport in collaboration with Disneyland Resort, this vibrant Boeing 737-800 showcases Princess Tiana from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ beloved film, “The Princess and the Frog.” The aircraft embarked on its inaugural flight to Santa Ana, California.
The livery celebrates the spirit of Princess Tiana and the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim. The intricate design took over 2,000 hours for artists to complete, featuring Princess Tiana herself, Louis the Alligator joyfully splashing among water lilies, a shimmering trail of fireflies along the fuselage, and even appearances from Mama Odie and Prince Naveen on the winglets.
Passengers, especially young travelers, can look forward to a special Tiana’s Bayou Adventure snack pack available for purchase onboard starting this summer, while supplies last.

This aircraft marks a significant milestone as Alaska Airlines’ ninth Disneyland Resort-themed plane and the very first to feature a Disney Princess. The “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer,” identified by tail number N596AS, will grace Alaska Airlines’ route network for the next several years.
“For more than 25 years, Alaska Airlines and Disneyland Resort have collaborated to bring magic and happiness to the skies,” said Sybil Crum, vice president of marketing and commercial strategy at Disneyland Resort. “As Disneyland Resort prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary, this latest addition honors our legacy and looks ahead to a bright future with Princess Tiana leading the way.”

The arrival of the “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” is timed with the Disneyland Resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, which kicks off on May 16, 2025, and will continue through the summer of 2026. The celebration will feature limited-time entertainment, festive decorations, themed food and beverages, and more. Disneyland Resort remains a popular destination for Alaska Airlines travelers heading to Southern California.
The new livery joins Alaska Airlines’ existing collection of cherished Disneyland Resort-themed aircraft, including “Mickey’s Toontown Express,” “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort,” and “Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort.”
