MLS Players ratify new agreement allowing for play to restart at Disney World

The MLS Players Association ratified a new collective bargaining agreement that would allow the 2020 season to resume, reportedly taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World.

MLS was two weeks into the season when it, like all sports, was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. In seeking a place where athletes can be secure to finish the soccer season, it appears that the MLS will choose the same location where the NBA is expected to finish its season – Disney World.

All 26 teams are expected to head to Disney World in late June where 16 teams would advance to the knockout stage, according to the Washington Post.
