
Walt Disney World ride and attraction closings and refurbishments from August 2015 to December 2015
Only one major attraction will be closed this summer at Disney World and it is a favorite of many – Pirates of the Caribbean.
Here’s a look at closings coming up, be aware they do change, so make sure you check the Disney World site before you head out on your trip. (Updated: Aug. 2, 2015)
Now – December 2015: The Monorail is going through refurbishment and may have modified times during this period. Check the park and transportation schedules.
June 8 – Sept. 25, 2015: Pirates of the Caribbean is closed for refurbishment.
July 6 – Nov. 20, 2015: Liberty Tree Tavern is closed for refurbishment.
July 19 – August 22, 2015: Dream Along with Mickey is closed for refurbishment.
August 4 – August 10, 2015: Liberty Square Riverboat is closed for refurbishment.
Sept. 7, 2015 – Sept. 10, 2015: Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios is closed for refurbishment.
Sept. 8 – Sept. 17, 2015: Living with The Land at Epcot will be closed for refurbishment.
Sept. 28 – Nov. 6, 2015: Walt Disney World Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland and Fantasyland stations and the Walt Disney Railroad will be closed for refurbishment.
Oct. 25 – Jan. 3, 2016: Blizzard Beach is closed for refurbishment.
Jan. 3, 2016 – March 13, 2016: Typhoon Lagoon is closed for refurbishment.
