Last La Nouba performance being live streamed tonight from Disney Springs
Cirque du Soleil will livestream its last performance of La Nouba on its Facebook page New Year’s Eve.
The 90-minute show, which is ending its run after nearly 20 years, will be able to seen starting at 10:30 p.m. EST on the Cirque du Soleil Facebook page.
Cirque du Soleil will be creating a new show for the theater, this one will focus on Disney animation. No opening date for the new show has been announced.
La Nouba premiered on Dec. 23, 1998 at was then Downtown Disney at Disney World. It was the third resident show ever created by the group. Since launch, La Nouba has entertained over 11.1 million guests and has performed over 8,600 shows.
The name La Nouba comes from the French phrase “faire la nouba,” which means “to party,” or “to live it up.”
