CrazyShake by Black Tap Coming to Disney Springs

The landscape of Disney Springs is getting a sugary makeover this spring. The world-renowned CrazyShake by Black Tap is officially set to take over the former Sprinkles Cupcakes storefront for three months.

Starting March 2, the Instagram-famous milkshakes that have long been a staple of Disneyland’s Downtown Disney will finally make their Florida debut. The headliner? The Special Edition Mickey Mouse Shake.

Previously an exclusive for Disneyland guests, this towering masterpiece is a feast for the eyes and the palate, featuring: A vanilla-frosted rim encrusted with Mickey-shaped sprinkles, a homemade Mickey-shaped crispy treat crowning the glass and a whimsical accents of red and white rock candy, whipped cream, and the quintessential cherry.

For those looking for a different kind of sugar rush, the pop-up will also serve fan favorites like the Bam Bam Shake—a nostalgia-fueled creation topped with Fruity Pebbles and strawberry Pop-Tarts—and the indulgent Cookies ‘n Cream Supreme.

The arrival of CrazyShake marks a bittersweet transition for Disney Springs. The space was formerly occupied by Sprinkles Cupcakes, the pioneer of the Cupcake ATM concept.

The chain, founded in 2005 by Candace Nelson, shocked fans when it shuttered all company-owned locations—including its decade-long residency at Walt Disney World—at the end of 2025.

While CrazyShake by Black Tap fills the gap for now, it remains to be seen if this pop-up is a temporary placeholder or a high-stakes audition for a permanent residency.
