Disney World’s trash can candy holder debuts
For generations, they’ve been a ubiquitous sight at Walt Disney World Resort, silently keeping the parks tidy. Now, these unsung heroes are taking on a sweeter role. Disney has just unveiled its all-new Bulk Candy Containers. The Disney trash can candy holder is based on the cans that line Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
These delightful miniature replicas capture the nostalgic charm of their full-sized counterparts, complete with swinging lids on both sides and a convenient flip-top. Instead of collecting discarded items, these new collectibles are designed to hold your favorite bulk candies.
The new Bulk Candy Containers specifically pay homage to the iconic bins of Main Street U.S.A., a beloved symbol for many park-goers, some of whom have even donned costumes inspired by their vibrant designs.

These sweet souvenirs are available now, but Disney is advising guests that supplies are limited.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the containers will be available later this month at the following locations:
- Magic Kingdom: Main Street Confectionery
- Animal Kingdom: Zuri’s Sweets Shop
- BoardWalk Inn: Screen Door General Store
- The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort: Meadow Trading Post
- Disney Springs: Goofy’s Candy Company
- Disney Springs: Disney’s Candy Cauldron
How To Purchase the Disney Trash Can Candy Holder
- Visit one of the six merchandise locations and pick your favorites from the bulk candy wall using a bag provided. Note that you will need to grab at least ½ lb. of candy to be able to purchase the container.
- Don’t place the sweets in the can just yet! You will need to check out first. Keep in mind that there’s a limit of 2 containers per guest/transaction. Available while supplies last!
- After purchasing, you can throw the candy in the container and reuse it as a nostalgic collectible.
