Photos: EPCOT’s CommuniCore area walls come down

The walls around the CommuniCore area of EPCOT have been removed, and we are just one day away from the official end of the multi-year reimagining of EPCOT’s front area.

CommuniCore Hall, CommuniCore Plaza, and Mickey and Friends will officially open tomorrow, June 10, 2024, with a special Encanto show for the summer.

To celebrate the opening, Disney will debut a special summer sing-along featuring the songs and story of “Encanto” from June 10 through Sept. 6. This new limited-time show, “¡Celebración Encanto!” will run several times throughout the day and will not only invite you and your family to sing along with some of your favorite songs, but you’ll also spot Mirabel and Bruno on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage. 

Below is the view of the rear of the stage. The front area, which was blocked off, has areas with umbrellas.

The Festival Favorites location will be serving some of the favorite treats from the various festivals.

Mickey & Friends, a new location adjacent to CommuniCore Hall, is where guests can meet some of their favorite Disney pals and take photos.
