Disney CEO Iger to hold virtual ‘town hall’ with Cast Members
Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger will hold a virtual town with Cast Members and employees on Nov. 28.
Joining Iger will be Josh D’Amaro, chairman Disney Experiences, co-chairman Alan Bergman and Dana Walden for Entertainment and Chairman Jimmy Pitaro for ESPN. The town hall will be moderated by ABC’s David Muir.
“As I reflect on the immense progress we’ve made this year and look ahead to the many opportunities before us, I’m grateful to all of you – the people of this great company – for the tremendous work you do each and every day to ensure we continue delivering incredible entertainment for our audiences, guests, and fans all over the world,” Iger said in a letter to Cast Members.
The virtual town hall will be held on Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.PT/ 12 p.m. ET.
At the recent quarterly earnings call on Nov. 8 Iger said,, “looking at the company as a whole, today we are focused on driving profitable growth and value creation as we move from a period of fixing to a new era of building.”
Iger continued by saying that “When you combine all of that with our unrivaled portfolio of valuable businesses, brands, and assets – and the way we manage them together – Disney has a strong hand that differentiates us from others in our industry.”
