ABC to produce The Little Mermaid Live! event in October 2017

The Little Mermaid is getting its own live TV special this fall.

ABC-TV announced it will produce a two-hour special The Little Mermaid Live event on Oct. 3, 2017.

Not much information was made available about The Wonderful World of Disney: The Little Mermaid Live show other than it will be a combination of live action and animation.

ABC also has not announced any information about the cast.

The special is being produced by Done + Dusted with Hamish Hamilton, Ian Stewart, David Jammy, Katy Mullan, and Richard Kraft, of Kraft-Engel Productions, serving as executive producers.
