Second Star Wars Reads Day is set for October

The second annual Star Wars Read Day will be held around the U.S. this October.

Last year, over 1,200 day-long reading events took place around North America and this year on Oct. 5, Star Wars authors, artists and fans will again have the chance to come together to get inspired and read, according to the official Star Wars news site.

“Reading and Star Wars have gone hand-in-hand since 1976, when the novelization of the original Star Wars movie was released. Over the years, many fans have discovered the joy in reading through Star Wars books,” Carol Roeder, director of publishing at Lucasfilm said on the site,

Fourteen official Star Wars Reads Day events are already confirmed, but the site says more are coming and details can be found at the the official Star Wars Reads Day Facebook page. Here are the locations so far:
