Burger King is preparing to take its flame-grilled flavor into hyperspace.
In a massive collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, the fast-food giant announced a limited-time menu inspired by the upcoming theatrical release, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. The promotion is set to blast off on May 4, known to fans worldwide as “Star Wars Day,” ahead of the film’s premiere on May 22.

The “out-of-this-galaxy” lineup features items themed after the series’ most iconic characters and motifs, served in custom-designed packaging:
- BBQ Bounty Whopper®: A 100% beef patty topped with Swiss cheese, crispy pickles, bacon, and a “Bounty BBQ Sauce.” The burger is served in a unique carton shaped like the Mandalorian’s helmet.
- Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake: Inspired by the “Child’s” penchant for snacks, this shake blends blue sugar cookie syrup with soft serve and is topped with blue cookie crumbles.
- Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries: Parmesan and garlic-seasoned chicken fries served in a Grogu-themed box.
- Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots: Crispy tots stuffed with cheddar and ranch seasoning, packaged in Imperial-themed cartons.
“We saw an opportunity to bring that excitement straight into our restaurants,” said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King U.S. & Canada. “From themed packaging to bold, flavor-forward menu items, this is our way of celebrating an iconic new film.”
The collaboration extends beyond the food. Fans can secure four collectible cups by purchasing a “Bounty Bundle”—which includes all four new menu items—or through various combo meals.
Younger “padawans” can get an early start on the celebration. Starting April 28, the King Jr.® Meal will feature Mandalorian-themed toys alongside traditional favorites:
- Choice of Hamburger or 4 pc. Nugget
- Apple Sauce AND Kids’ Fry Size
- Choice of Milk or Apple Juice
- A Mandalorian-themed toy for the next generation of galactic adventurers, available while supplies last
The special menu will be available at participating U.S. locations while supplies last. Customers can track down these galactic treats in-store, via the BK App, or at BK.com.
