Beaches and Cream Soda Shop refurbishment pushed back

The planned refurbishment for Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club Resort has been moved back slightly allowing everyone to visit one of the best ice cream places on Disney World property until the end of August.

The shop will now close on Aug. 26, 2019, and reopen in December with a bit more space.

The arcade that is adjacent to the shop will also close to make more room for the expansion.

The to-go windows will also be closed during the refurbishment. While closed, there will be a temporary place at the Yacht and Beach Club offering ice cream, but you’ll have to wait for the famed Kitchen Sink until Beaches and Cream reopens.
