Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Disneyland, Disney World photo comparison

Time is ticking down fast to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy Edge in Disneyland. There are just about three weeks left until the first phase of the 14-acre land opens up and nearly three months until the Walt Disney World version opens.

Intrepid photographer @bioreconstruct has been documenting the progression the Disney World version by air and now he is out in California taking photos of the Disneyland version.

The two are almost completely identical, but geography obviously will make some differences. Disneyland version is built in the northern park where Big Thunder Ranch and other backstage areas were located. The construction caused a reconfiguration of the Disneyland Railroad and Rivers of America. 

The Disney World version is built in Hollywood Studios replacing the Streets of America, the  Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: Movie Set Adventure.
