Police department issues arrest warrant for Frozen’s Queen Elsa

The winter is so bad in Kentucky that the Harlan City Police Department put out an arrest warrant for Disney’s Queen Elsa.

The small rural police force decided to have some fun and wrote on Facebook: “All points bulletin!!! HPD has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song ‘Let it Go!’ As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone.”

The police seven minutes later posted another message alerting everyone that it was a joke and they should take the weather seriously. The reaction on Facebook was fast and furious.

Some people thought the department had a great sense of humor. One mother even offered to have her daughter get Anna’s help to bring Elsa to justice. Others thought the police had more serious things to do and those running the police department should be replaced.
