Get ready for longer lines at Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios

The FastPass line will be closed starting April 9, 2018, for Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios as the next phase of work begins on the entrance for the new Toy Story Land.

The entrance, as previously reported, will be moving from what will become the backside of the building to the new entrance inside Toy Story Land, which opens June 30, 2018.

To do this, some of the ride tracks will need to be closed for the work to take place. This means there will only be a Stand By line. On a ride that traditionally hands out its Fast Passes weeks, if not months, in advance, the Stand By line might easily grow to past three hours.

Work is expected to be done by May 7, 2018, and the FastPass line is expected to return to operation by that time.
