Disney World launching new kid’s night care program
Disney World is launching a new kid’s night program at the Contemporary Resort this April which will give parents a break for the evening.
The pilot program will feature characters from Disney-Pixar’s “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles.”
The evening starts off with “Space Ranger Training where kids will learn how to identify and battle enemies of the Star Command. Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup. During the Piston Cup Challenge, youngsters will be able to build a race car, then race it on the Radiator Springs Racetrack. And finally, kids will learn some sweet dance moves during the Incredible Dance Party with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The program kicks of April 13, 2018, for kids ages 4 to 12. Programming runs from 6 to 10:30 p.m for $65 per child (plus tax). Children must be toilet-trained.
This is happening Disney World is closing down three of it Children’s Activity Centers due to a decline in usage.
Simba’s Cubhouse at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sandcastle Club at Disney Beach Club Resort and Lilo’s Playhouse at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are closing July 1.
