10 Disney pins counting down to ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ being released

The Star Wars movie countdown started in earnest on Sept. 4, with Force Friday, the mega-merchandise day for all things Star Wars.

In celebration of the countdown, there are special “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” pins being released at Disney Parks from now until the movie opens on Dec. 18, 2015.

There are 10 pins total. The individual pins cost $12.95. The first one, focusing on C-3PO, R2-D2 and newest droid BB-8, was released Sept. 4.

The next ones being released are:

Sept. 17: Featuring Poe
Oct. 1: Featuring Chewbacca
Oct. 15: Featuring Finn
Oct. 29: Featuring Rey
Nov. 19: Featuring Kylo Ren
Dec. 3: Featuring Storm Troopers
Dec. 10: Featuring a Flame Trooper
Dec. 17: Feautring Captain Phasma
Dec. 17: The 10-pin box set for $179 includes the 9 previous pins and a special 10th pin.
