Photos of the new Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar at Downtown Disney in Disney World

One of the newest restaurants in Downtown Disney (soon to be renamed Disney Springs) at Disney World has opened.

Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar, a restaurant based off of Jock Lindsey, the pilot for Indiana Jones in “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” is themed with everything from spare airplane parts to nostalgic postcards and antique maps o the walls.

“Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar fits into the storytelling of Disney Springs – a town that grew up over time,” Theron Skees of Walt Disney Imagineering said in a press release. “It’s all about Jock’s love of flying and his collection over the years.”

The idea behind the bar is that Jock came to Disney Springs in the 1940s after discovering the town while flying over Florida in 1938 in search of the Fountain of Youth.
