Disneyland kicks off Pixar Fest in April 2018
Disneyland is planning on holding a major celebration spanning both parks called Pixar Fest, starting April 13, 2018.
The limited time event will bring a new fireworks show to Disneyland and the return of two old favorite parades, new themed beverages and exclusive merchandise.
“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular,” fireworks will celebrate Pixar stories through the decades as it lights up the sky over Disneyland.
It starts off with the meeting of unlikely Pixar pals and follows their adventures as they overcome obstacles and forge everlasting friendships. “Together Forever” comes to life “through projections on iconic park locations: Sleeping Beauty Castle, the water screens of the Rivers of America, the façade of “it’s a small world” and the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A.,” Disney announced.

The “Pixar Play Parade” will make its way through Disneyland Park this spring. It will be led by a new character, Pixar’s iconic lamp. Characters from “Up” and “Inside Out” will join the parade.
Also on April 13, “Paint the Night” parade returns, but this time at California Adventure. “Paint the Night” features pals from “Toy Story,” “Monsters, Inc.” and “Cars.” More characters will be joining the “Paint the Night” parade later in the year.
A collection of Pixar Shorts will be featured at the Sunset Showcase Theater at Disney California Adventure, including “For the Birds” and “LAVA.” The short films will rotate during the celebration.
A musical troupe will entertain guests with Pixar-inspired performances in the Paradise Gardens area of Disney California Adventure.
New merchandise will include an exclusive Pixar Fest charm bracelet. There will be multiple bracelet options and a variety of charms with friendship messages and Pixar characters which will allows people to mix and match with friends and family.
