Principal photography begins for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2″
Marvel Studios has begun principal photography on Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” in Atlanta, Georgia.
Filming started Pinewood Studios, according to Marvel.com. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on May 5, 2017.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is written and directed by James Gunn, who wrote the original movie.
In addition to Gunn, the cast returns: Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula and Sean Gunn as Kraglin.
Joining the cast will be Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
