Casey’s Corner reopens June 30 at Magic Kingdom, ice cream shop in July
Finally, reopening dates for Magic Kingdom favorites Casey’s Corner and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor have been announced.
Casey’s Corner is reopening on June 30 and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor will reopen on July 7. The delay for the reopenings was due to the physical distancing. Both of the shops were located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. before the hub and both have always had long lines.
Traditionally, both areas suffer from congestion and attempting to keep any physical distancing would have been fruitless. But, now with things returning to normal operations, the two are returning.
- Casey’s Corner will reopen with its classic all-beef hot dogs and two plant-based options. Here’s a brief look at the menu:

The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor will open July 7 with all your favorite flavors on a cone or in a cup – fat-free and no sugar added, as well as plant-based non-dairy options will be available. In addition, Barq’s Root Beer Floats and Coca-Cola Floats are back.
