Trump will have speaking role in Disney’s Hall of Presidents

President Donald Trump will have a speaking role at the Hall of Presidents in Disney World.

Speculation was that Trump would be silent when the attraction at the Magic Kingdom re-opens, but Disney came out with the statement this week: “The same thing that we’ve done with other presidents, is the same plan we have for President Trump,” Jacquee Wahler, vice president of communications, told News 13.

There has been a lot of debate and pushback from some Disney fans not to have Trump – who sparks strong emotions from both sides of the political fence – speak.

In January a petition was created to keep the animatronic Trump silent. It currently has 14,786 supporters.

Disney has not set an opening date yet.
The tradition of Presidents recording speeches for the attraction started with Bill Clinton and has been followed by George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
