Disney World announces New Year’s Eve entertainment lineup

And if you can’t make it, remember Disney World is live streaming fireworks to the world.

The Disney Parks Blog released the following entertainment list: 

Epcot: The party takes place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a DJ at the Future World Fountain Stage, a DJ under flame effects and a smoke-billowing dragon in China, a blast to the past with British Invasion in the United Kingdom, a Euro-pop DJ and lasers in Italy, a Latin band and DJ on the America Gardens Stage and a “Silent Groove” party in Japan. There will also be two showing of Illumination. The 6 p.m. show will have the holiday ending and the 11:40 p.m. show will have a countdown and a salute to the New Year.

Hollywood Studios: There will be a DJ at Center stage starting at 7 p.m. , leading up to a midnight countdown and fireworks. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM fireworks will take place at 9 p.m. and the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will take place after midnight.

Magic Kingdom: Festivities will take place with a special “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks at 11:50 p.m. on Friday, December 30.  The same show will be repeated on December 31. There will also be earlier versions at 7:30 p.m. for those who can not stay up that late.
