Disney+ subscribers get perks at Disney World theme parks on Nov. 12

Disney is celebrating Disney+ Day not only on the streaming service but at the Walt Disney World theme parks with some special perks for Disney+ subscribers who are visiting.

Disney+ subscribers will receive early park entry, complimentary downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos at select locations, special character appearances and an all-new AR lens roll out with Grogu.

All guests must have a valid park ticket and park reservation for the day and proof of subscription. Only one Disney+ subscription is required per party. Here’s how you can check to make sure it is attached:

1. Go to your My Disney Experience App.
2. Tap the “hamburger” icon on the lower right of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap on My Profile.
4. Check to make sure you are connected

On Nov. 12, Disney+ subscribers will be able to enter the park 30 minutes early as part of the Early Park Entry. Those guests staying at Disney theme park resorts will be able to enter 60 minutes earlier that day only instead of the normal 30 minutes.

Special Magic Shots

Disney+ subscribers and their guests will be able to get special Magic Shots for free at these various locations:

Magic Kingdom Park

• By the entrance to Tomorrowland, across from Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, featuring an Olaf Magic Shot
• Near the gazebo located behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, featuring a Peg Leg Pete Magic Shot
• Outside the entrance to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, next to the Rivers of America, featuring a Donald Duck Magic Shot

EPCOT

• Near the entrance to The Seas with Nemo & Friends, featuring a Baby Groot Magic Shot
• In front of the fountain next to Journey Into Imagination With Figment, featuring a Huey, Dewey and Louie Magic Shot
• By the back of the Morocco Pavilion, featuring a Disney+ prop

Hollywood Studios

• Next to Echo Lake, featuring a Disney+ prop
• In front of The lncredibles backdrop in Animation Courtyard, featuring a Violet and Jack-Jack Magic Shot
• Outside of the large archway near the market in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, featuring a Kowakian Monkey­Lizard Magic Shot

Animal Kingdom

• On the bridge between Expedition Everest and Dinoland U.S.A., featuring a Tuk Tuk Magic Shot
• Next to the Discovery River between Africa and Asia, featuring an “Up” Magic Shot
• Near the waterfall directly beneath the Tree of Life, featuring a Disney+ prop

Grogu Special Appearance – Snap a Selfie

Step up your selfie game on the My Disney Experience app with a special appearance from Grogu-an all-new AR lens accessible in the Disney PhotoPass Lens section.

• This all-new AR lens rolls out on Disney+ Day and is complimentary just for November 12, 2021.
• After Disney+ Day, this feature will only be available for Disney Genie+ purchasers.
