Disney Store designed for adult women will open in Tokyo this spring

Disney Stores around the U.S. used to be a place for all ages. They would cater not only to the tykes, but the tweens, teens and adults.

They used to sell animation cells, adult clothing and jewelry, but now they are mostly targeted toward children.

But do not fear, Disney will be opening a store in Tokyo, Japan, designed for — wait for it — adult women, according to a news release.

Yes, this spring, in the Harajuku  area, Disney will open a store with shelves stocked with jewelry, bags, and smartphone accessories. The store will have more subdued tones instead of the bright colors a Disney Store normally has.

The Harajuku Alta Disney Store is set to open on March 7, 2015.
