2 more Magic Kingdom attractions will undergo brief refurbishments

Two more Magic Kingdom attractions will undergo brief refurbishments during the next two months closing down according to the Walt Disney World site.

The first one under refurbishment is the Mad Tea Party, which will be closed starting Feb 22 and will reopen on March 5.

The second attraction will be the Swiss Family Treehouse, which will close starting March 12 and reopen on March 26.

As Walt Disney World continues its phased reopening, it appears the Disney is back to a normal refurbishment schedule where it takes down attractions for a couple of weeks at a time.

Here is the complete list of attractions at the Magic Kingdom that will be closed for refurbishment during the next couple of months.

  • Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station – Closed
  • Enchanted Tales with Belle – Closed
  • Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade – Closed
  • Hall of Presidents – Closed for refurbishment and update, no reopening date has been announced.
  • Liberty Square Riverboat – Closed for refurbishment, reopening on Feb. 5, 2021
  • Mad Tea Party – Closed for refurbishment starting Feb. 22 and reopening March 5, 2021.
  • Monsters, Inc. – Closed
  • Swiss Family Treehouse – Closed for refurbishment starting March 12 and reopening March 26.
  • Tom Sawyer Island – Closed for refurbishment, no reopening date announced
  • Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover – Closed for refurbishment. There is no reopening date announced.
  • Walt Disney World Railroad – Closed during the construction of the new Tron attraction being built. The trains and tracks are being refurbished. There is no reopening date announced,
