TriceraTop Spin closing for refurbishment in June for a week

TriceraTop Spin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closing for a brief refurbishment, according to the Disney website.

The spinning ride will be closed starting June 13 and reopen on June 18. The week-long refurbishment is most likely related to maintenance.

Designed for kids, the 4-person triceratops gondala lifts into the air, similar to Dumbo. If you are seated in the back row, you can direct how high or low you fly by moving an onboard lever up or down. If you’re sitting in the front row, maneuvering a joystick will tip your dinosaur forward or backward.
