Disneyland now offering special Halloween dining experience

Disneyland is offering a premium Halloween dining experience for Mickey’s Halloween Party with a three-course meal and a special viewing area for the Halloween Screams fireworks, the Disney Parks Blog reports.

The Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou in the Blue Bayou Restaurant features Dr. Facilier as the host with special guests appearing and a special limited-edition custom lithograph.

The $150 per person ticket ticket does not include admission to the party. The dining experience runs from 7 to 9:45 p.m. Guest check-in begins at 4 p.m. at Blue Bayou Restaurant. After making the reservation, the restaurant will call ahead for the food choices.

The menu includes the following choices:

Appetizer
Crab Cake with Creole slaw and Remoulade sauce or Warm Goat Cheese Tart with baby spinach, golden beets, prosciutto and dried cherry vinaigrette.

Entrée
Braised Short Rib with Danish blue cheese whipped potatoes, baby carrots and huckleberry-pinot noir reduction or Bourbon Glazed Chicken Breast with smoked aged white cheddar polenta, asparagus and thyme jus or Red Fish with crispy rock shrimp, green beans, Louisiana long grain rice and étouffée sauce.

Dessert
Dark Chocolate Crème Brule with salted caramel macaroon or Almond Praline Cheesecake with petit honey beignets.
