Disney World has introduced a new seasonal ticket offer aimed at guests looking to enjoy the parks during the cooler afternoon and evening hours. The Specially Priced After-2 PM Ticket provides a flexible entry option for those who prefer to skip the morning rush while still experiencing the resort’s nighttime spectaculars and late-day atmosphere.
Available for use starting May 26 through July 29, this ticket offers admission to one theme park per day, specifically after 2 p.m.
Ticket Tiers and Validity
The offer is structured in two tiers, allowing guests to customize the length of their visit:
- 2-Day Ticket: Starting from $235, plus tax, must be used within four days of the selected start date.
- 3-Day Ticket: Starting from $329, plus tax, must be used within five days of the selected start date.
In a move that simplifies the planning process, these are date-based tickets, meaning theme park reservations are not required. Guests simply select their start date at the time of purchase and can head straight to their park of choice once the clock strikes 2 p.m.
The tickets per day range from $117 to $130. It does change since it is a date-based ticket. A full-day ticket during that time runs from $161 to $178, so you can see a 25 to 33 percent savings depending on the days.
While the ticket offers a lower price point than standard all-day admission, it does come with specific operational guidelines that travelers should keep in mind:
- Entry Restrictions: Admission is strictly prohibited before 2 p.m. This includes Early Theme Park Entry; even guests staying at Disney Resort hotels cannot use this specific ticket to enter during the morning “extra half-hour.”
- Virtual Queues and Lightning Lane: Guests should be aware that any Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations, or Mobile Order purchases scheduled before 2 p.m. will not be valid with this ticket. Non-refundable cancellation fees may still apply for missed reservations made outside the valid entry window.
- Park Hopping: This offer is limited to one theme park per day; park hopping is not included in the base “After-2 PM” ticket.
