Even thought Downtown Disney has changed its name officially to Disney Springs, don’t think the transformation is complete at this Disney World restaurant and shopping complex.
Disney Springs is expected to be complete by the end of 2016 and there are still a dozen stores to open. Disney Springs includes four districts, outdoor neighborhoods with a diverse mix of retailers.
The dining still to open includes:
STK: This steakhouse mixes the ambiance of a sleek lounge and emphasizing a social and fun environment occupying 14,000 square feet in a two-story building.
The Edison: An “Industrial Gothic”-style restaurant, bar and nighttime destination that will feature American food, artisanal craft cocktails and unparalleled live entertainment. Themed to a 1920s-period electric company, the space will recall an exuberant era of invention and imagination.
Sprinkles: The world’s first cupcake bakery, as named by Food Network and others, will serve up handcrafted cupcakes.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza: This modern day “pizza joint” known for its custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s’more pies.
New store opening include:
Zara: The retailer is known for its men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories.
Tommy Bahama: Iconic island lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama has a casual collection, including island-inspired sportswear, denim, and swimwear for men and women.
Lilly Pulitzer: The American resort wear brand offering clothing and accessories.
UNIQLO: Leading global retailer manufactures, and sells casual apparel that comes from the company’s Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity.
PANDORA: The popular jewelry brand will offer modern charm bracelets, along with necklaces, rings and earrings, as well as a line of exclusive Disney-themed jewelry.
UGG: Premium lifestyle brand offering men’s, women’s and kid’s footwear.

In addition, Planet Hollywood is going through a transformation to a star-themed Planet Hollywood Observatory to match the look and feel of Disney Springs. The restaurant will add a new outdoor terrace and bar space called Stargazers and feature live entertainment.
