Dooney & Bourke releases 20th anniversary Mulan collection
Dooney & Bourke surprised us this weekend with a new collection of bags commemorating the 20th anniversary of “Mulan.”
The story of a Chinese girl who disguises herself as a man to take her aging father’s place in the military, the animated “Mulan” was released June 5, 1998. The story will return to the big screen in 2020 in a live-action remake starring Chinese actress Liu Yifei in the title role.
Dooney & Bourke’s designs feature our heroine Mulan and her dragon Mushu in vibrant patterns. The large tote features two full-color illustrations, one on each side.
The bags are currently available at Disney Parks and on backorder from ShopParks website, where they will ship around July 17. They are not yet available on the ShopParks app.
