Na’vi River Journey at Disney World closed for third straight day
The popular Na’vi River Journey remains closed for a third straight day at Animal Kingdom in Disney World.
The ride is only one of two in the Pandora – The World of Avatar area of the theme park. On Tuesday, March 24, 2018, the Na’vi River Journey and the Flight of Passage were closed intermittently. Both rides were closed Wednesday. On Thursday, Flight of Passage opened but the river journey remained closed.
This morning Djuan River, vice president Disney’s Animal Kingdom Them Park, sent this note out on My Disney Experience to those with FastPasses:
“On behalf of everyone at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I apologize Na’vi River Journey is unavailable today. Cast Members have been working diligently to resolve the challenges we’ve encountered, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction. You will receive an e-mail offering you another FastPass+ selection valid for other available attractions at the same time as your original Navi River Journey FastPass+ selection. I hope you will use it to enjoy another experience during today’s visit.”
There has been no indication by Disney what the cause was for closing the ride.
