Disney World Sept. 4 hours released, after closing early for Hurricane Dorian

Walt Disney World will resume normal operations Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, after closing its theme parks early on Sept. 3 due to the impact of Hurricane Dorian.

The deadly storm slammed into the Bahamas causing at least five reported deaths so far. Officials estimated thousands of homes, businesses and governmental and health facilities. The full scope of the damage will not be known for days.

The storm is now off the Florida coast. Orange and Osceola counties, where Disney World is located, are under a Tropical Storm Warning, which means winds are forecast for 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Orlando International Airport has ceased operation until the storm passes.

Because of schedule changes, there are no morning Extra Magic Hours on Sept. 4. Magic Kingdom will have evening Extra Magic Hours from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Here is the Disney operations schedule for Wednesday:

Magic Kingdom Park: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Extra Magic Hours, 10 p.m. – midnight)

Epcot: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Disney Springs: 10 a.m. – midnight

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park: Closed

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
