Opening date announced for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy

Disney has announced the opening date of the new Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Hollywood Studios. Disney will open at the attraction March 31, 2019.

The attraction will take you inside the world of Pixar’s Cars films, bringing you face to face Lightning McQueen. You’ will learn the rules of the road from Lightning’s years of experience. Disney says this will be the untold story of Lightning McQueen – as told by Lightning McQueen.

Disney previously announced that guests will be enveloped by a two-story tall wraparound screen that is more than 200 feet from end to end. And there is all new animation coming to this attraction. All of Lightning’s friends, including  Tow Mater and Cruz Ramirez will be on hand.
