VIDEO: The evolution of the Walt Disney Pictures logo

There is excitement before every Walt Disney movie when the Walt Disney Pictures logo of the Cinderella Castle appears, similar to the feeling of seeing the real thing in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World (at least for us here.)

Over the years the logo has gone through numerous transformations. Ethan Jones on his YouTube Channel has put together  this great compilation of the Walt Disney Picture logo intros from its first appearance in “The Black Cauldron” in 1985 to “Into the Woods.

Ever since introducing the logo, Disney has had fun with it, changing it to match the specific story and eventually turning it into 3-D CGI. Below is 10 minute video – yes long, but fun.
