Video: Disney shares Tron construction update at Magic Kingdom

To celebrate the first steel support columns being installed for the new Tron attraction at the Magic Kingdom, Disney has released a video showing the updated.

The steel columns will serve as the framework to support the coaster’s track. Cast members and workers signed one of the beams prior to it being put in place.

The new coaster being built in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run.  Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.
