Dooney & Bourke MagicBands now available

Dooney & Bourke has branched out, lending three classic designs to limited-edition MagicBands.

Each $48 MagicBand comes with a Dooney & Bourke slider and is presented in a matching box with magnetic clasp. Only 1,500 will be made of each style. Guests are limited to buying two per style, and there are no returns or exchanges.

But for $48, how long do they last? Disney cast members will tell you they last about two years. There is a battery in the band, which can’t be replaced. But after the battery dies, the bands will still work for short-range things, like getting you into the park and making purchases. But they won’t work for long-range things, like finding your table at Be Our Guest or syncing your ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
