Disney Jollywood Nights to Return with Expanded 2026 Schedule
Walt Disney World is bringing back its glitz, glamour, and seasonal sparkle with the return of Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. The separately ticketed holiday event will feature expanded dates for the 2026 season, extending into January for the first time since its inception.
The retro-infused holiday celebration blends old Hollywood elegance with festive cheer on select nights from Nov. 7, 2026, through Jan. 5, 2027.
The event started in 2023 with a rough start but has grown into a party I enjoy. It’s a little more “adult” than Mickey’s Very Mery Christmas Party, but still good for kids. It is the perfect balance of entertainment and time to enjoy the attractions that are open.
During the event, Hollywood Studios is transformed into a nostalgic winter wonderland. Silver garlands drape across Sunset Boulevard, oversized ornaments decorate the landscape, and glowing reindeer hang from lampposts, evoking the aesthetic of a classic holiday postcard.
2026 Event Dates and Ticket Information
In a shift from previous years, the event’s calendar will stretch past the New Year. The 2026–2027 schedule includes 15 select nights:
- November: 7, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 (Select Saturdays and Mondays)
- December: 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 23 (Select Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays)
- January: 3, 5 (Select Sunday and Tuesday)
Event ticket holders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 5:30 p.m., before the official festivities run from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Because Jollywood Nights operates with a limited capacity, Disney officials recommend purchasing tickets well in advance.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 16. Guests staying at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets early starting July 9. Discounts are available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
Entertainment, Stage Shows, and Spectaculars
Jollywood Nights boasts an array of exclusive, entertainment-driven offerings designed to capture a vintage Hollywood variety-show atmosphere.
- “Disney Holidays in Hollywood”: Hosted at the Theater of the Stars, this musical stage show features Muppet favorites Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. They are joined by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Belle, and Tiana in a production modeled after classic Hollywood holiday television specials.
- “Glisten!”: Returning for the 2026 season, this outdoor skating spectacular takes place in front of the park’s iconic Chinese Theater. World-class ice skaters perform routines set to original Jollywood songs and holiday classics on a synthetic rink enhanced by Art Deco projections.
- “What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along”: The Hyperion Theater plays host to a whimsical, slightly eerie sing-along experience. Guests can join Jack Skellington in singing tracks like “What’s This?” and “Sally’s Song” under a simulation of falling snow.
- “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!”: The night concludes with this high-energy nighttime spectacular projected onto the Chinese Theater. Featuring fireworks, lasers, and holiday music, the show follows Wayne and Lanny from Disney’s Prep & Landing on a rescue mission to save Santa, interspersed with classic Disney animation clips and simulated snowfall.
Immersive Parties and Character Encounters
The event spreads distinct party environments across the park. The courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel transforms into the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, featuring a 1930s-style swing band. For a more refined experience, Jazzy Holidays at The Hollywood Brown Derby opens its doors for live music and seasonal culinary offerings, though advance reservations are strongly recommended due to limited capacity.
For families, the Pixar Disco at Pixar Plaza offers a high-energy dance party hosted by Pixar favorites, including Edna Mode, Frozone, Joy, and Mike Wazowski.
Character meet-and-greets are a major draw for the hard-ticket event, highlighting rare and festively attired characters. The 2026 lineup includes:
- Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto
- Phineas and Ferb, Max Goof (as Powerline), and the Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers
- Stitch in a Santa suit and Scrooge McDuck
- Baloo, King Louie, Lotso, Partysaurus Rex, Bing Bong, and Duffy
- The Mandalorian, Grogu, and Chewbacca celebrating “Life Day”
In addition to the exclusive entertainment and themed food and beverage marketplaces, attendees will benefit from significantly lower wait times on the park’s popular thrill rides and attractions, which remain open throughout the evening.
