Yachtsman Steakhouse and Crew’s Cup Lounge Set for 2026 Refurbishments

Disney World has announced temporary closures for two signature dining locations at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as part of an ongoing property refurbishment.

Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to close on Feb. 23, 2026. The popular wood-paneled lounge is expected to remain unavailable for approximately three months, with a projected reopening in May 2026.

Following the lounge’s return, Yachtsman Steakhouse will suspend operations starting in May 2026. The signature dining location is slated for a multi-month refurbishment and is currently expected to reopen to guests in August 2026.

While these venues are closed, the resort’s primary table-service option, Ale & Compass Restaurant, will remain open. Nearby dining alternatives within walking distance at the Epcot-area resorts include

  • Shula’s Steak House (Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel)
  • Flying Fish (Disney’s BoardWalk)
  • Cape May Cafe (Disney’s Beach Club Resort)

An exact date for the Yachtsman Steakhouse closure has not yet been released. Guests with existing vacation plans are encouraged to check for dining availability through the My Disney Experience app 60 days in advance of their visit.
