Disney World’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open this summer
This morning, Disney World announced the opening season for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and provided a first look at the Tiana audio-animatronic figure that will be the center of the attraction.
The attraction will open this summer. A month or date has not yet been announced. This means it could open anytime from June through September. Since it is a water ride, there is hope that the sooner, the better. If you are at Disneyland, you are going to need to wait a little while, it will open later in the year.
In addition to the morsel of when the ride will open, Disney has provided a first look at the new audio-animatronics that will be part of the ride.

The story of the ride will pick up where the film left off as guests join Princess Tiana and jazz-loving alligator Louis on an adventure down the bayou as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind celebration during Mardi Gras season where everyone is welcome. Along the way, guests will encounter familiar faces, make new friends and travel through the bayou to original music inspired by songs from the film.
