What do you get when you cross manga art with preppy clothing? The new Disney x Tommy Hilfiger collection, which launched today online and in stores.
The complete collection, which includes 94 styles for adults, 42 for kids and 14 adaptive styles, is available on the Tommy Hilfiger website. According to a Women’s Wear Daily report, the adaptive pieces include T-shirts, polos and dresses with magnetic closures, as well as shorts and pants with pull-up loops for people with limited dexterity.
Disney artists created the character drawings, while Hilfiger’s designers created the clothing and accessories that make up the collection.
Sizing for the collection differs from what you would normally see on shopDisney. For instance, a skirt that is size XXXL is the equivalent of a size 14. This is disappointing because Tommy has a plus-size line, so it shouldn’t have been hard to extend this collection. (We’ve included the size chart at the bottom of this post as an FYI.)
In addition to shopDisney.com and Tommy.com, the collection will be available in some Hilfiger stores and at stores in Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
