Photos: Filming of Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ in Halifax, England

Filming as resumed for Marvel’s “Secret Invasion,” at Pierce Hall in Halifax, England. The new series coming to Disney+ features Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Talos, a shape-shifting Skrull.

The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

The Skrulls were first introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Captain Marvel.” In addition to Jackson and Mendelsohn, Cobbie Smulders returns as former SHIELD agent Maria Hill.

Emilia Clarke joins the cast as a mysterious Skrull character.

The area appears to he a stand-in for Russia and a “Russian Unity Day Event.”
