Photos: Nova Corps Starblaster outside Guardians of Galaxy ride in EPCOT

This past week has brought the completion of the Nova Corps Starblaster outside the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind building in EPCOT.

“The scale of this ship is stunning and speaks to the audacity and the ambition of this attraction and of our EPCOT transformation. This is a major milestone and I am very proud to see all the hard work our Imagineers put into this project come to life,” Zach Riddley, Portfolio Executive, New Experience Development at Walt Disney Imagineering, wrote on Instagram.

 The 51-foot-tall ship is placed on a landing pad. This ship is now the signature icon of the Wonders of Xandar pavilion to introduce all to the Xandarian storyline inside the new attraction scheduled to open in summer 2022.

This attraction will be the first coaster attraction at EPCOT. It will feature the first reverse launch on a Disney coaster and will be one of the longest fully enclosed coasters in the world.
