For at least the past two days one of the Kylo Ren audio-animatronic figures on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has not been working.
Instead of shutting down the attraction, or having an area that looks broken, Disney has come up with a B-Mode option. This creates a different experience to keep the story going.
What is supposed to happen (and yes, there are spoilers here), you as an escaped prisoner come upon Kylo Ren, who has been searching for you. Just as he uses the Force to make you tell him where the secret base is located, the hull is breached and he is sucked out into space.
When the animatronic is not working, you instead see him flying a ship in space threatening you and that ship is… well you can see what happens below.
