We found the Hidden Mickey at the new Trader Sam’s Gift Shop on the Jungle Cruise

The reimagining of the Jungle Cruise is not yet complete at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, but a number of new set pieces have been already added. The Disneyland version debuts on July 16.

This includes the a new Boats and Baits shop on a beach, a sunken Jungle Cruise boat with the luggage floating in the river and being eaten by the hungry, hungry hippos, the new scene of the a trapped safari party that finds itself up a tree and Traders Sam’s new gift shop.

The Jungle Cruise makeover will have new scenes that are supposed to “heighten our skippers’ legendary comedic tone, beginning with a trapped safari party that finds itself up a tree after their journey goes awry. Unexpected scenarios along the way will give the jungle and animals the last laugh,” Disney previously announced.

While we have not had the chance to take a close look at the new scenes to find any of our favorite Hidden Mickey’s at the first three locations, the last one is a bit obvious.

Trader Sam has found a way to convert the new Lost & Found location into something more profitable for the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. And at the end of the cruise you will find the new gift shop. And as you pass next to it, admiring the radio and other items that “fell of a boat” you will also find the Hidden Mickey.

Take a look at the left side of the shack as soon as it comes into view and there are three glass balls hanging in a net as decoration. But, you never know, they could be for sale.
