Photos: Newest baby pony born at Disney World is the cutest

A new year brings a new baby to Walt Disney World This Shetland pony was born at the Tri-Circle D Ranch and is named Obie.

Obie joins a heard of 28 other ponies at Disney World’s Tri-Circle D Ranch, according to Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President: Animals, Science and Environment for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

Obie was born to mom, Lady, on Jan. 7, 2021. He is the brother of Lilly, who was the first Cinderella pony born at the ranch. He’s less than a week old, but the ranch team said he’s already keeping pace with his mom and nearly ready to make his onstage debut.

In a few years, you may even see him join his sister and father on Cinderella’s pumpkin coach in parades and in Disney’s Fairytale Weddings, Penning writes on Instagram.
