Disney’s new Keister Coaster sign misspells the slides name
Disney’s sneak peek of the new graphic on the Keister Coaster slide at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort may end up being the butt of many jokes soon.
While Walt Disney’s Imagineering is proudly showing off the new graphic, there is one itty, bitty problem. “Keister” is misspelled. It is spelled on the graphic as “kiester.” While many may head to the web to double-check and find it might be an acceptable spelling in the Urban Dictionary – it’s really not.
According to the Merriam-Webster and Oxford English dictionaries, the proper spelling is “keister” with the alternative spelling of “keester,” meaning buttocks or rear-end.
The slide where the graphic will be located was closed earlier. The scary clown face that was part of the slide was removed for refurbishment. In its place, the slide is getting a Mickey makeover.
“When the slide reopens soon, guests will have the chance to see Mickey Mouse and his pals clowning around as they splash down into Luna Park Pool,” Walt Disney Imagineering shared on social media.
