Disney World transportation reopening updates: Skyliner, Monorail
There is some preliminary information coming out on when some various modes transportation will be coming on line for the public at the Walt Disney Resort.
As of now, and these could change:
The Monorail from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Magic Kingdom will reopen on July 11. It is unknown if the Monorail will be available during the Annual Passholder preview taking place on July 9 or if the ferry boat and buses will be the only thing running.
The Epcot Monorail does not currently have an opening date, even though the Epcot is scheduled to reopen July 15. Since no park hopping will be allowed during this phased reopening, the line could remain shut down and buses could be used to Epcot from the Magic Kingdom area resorts.
The resort boats from the Polynessian and the Wilderness Lodge are scheduled to open July 11.
The Disney Skyliner is set to reopen on July 15.
There has been no indication on when the Friendship Boats, which serve The Yacht and Beach Club, The Boardwalk and the Swan and Dolphin might reopen.
In addition, the Disney transportation system will not be operating during the Annual Passholder previews on July 9 and July 10. If you are already on property, you will need to find your own transportation to the various parking areas.
